Parafield Airport Master Plan 2024
Parafield Airport Limited (PAL) is pleased to present the Parafield Airport Master Plan 2024 (PAMP 2024), which details the airport’s strategic vision and development roadmap through to 2043, with a detailed focus on the period up to 2031.
PAMP 2024 provides a comprehensive framework for the development of Parafield Airport to support aviation activities, commercial development, environmental management and infrastructure delivery. It includes a Development Program, Environment Strategy and Ground Transport Plan as well as an overview of aviation forecasts and aircraft noise exposure.
Approval and Compliance
The Parafield Airport Master Plan 2024 was approved by the Commonwealth Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, the Honorable Catherine King MP, on 19 August 2024.
PAMP 2024 has been prepared in accordance with the Airports Act 1996. In accordance with the Act, PAL must review this Master Plan no later than 19 August 2032.
Community Engagement
PAMP 2024 was developed following extensive stakeholder and community consultation, including a 60-business day public and stakeholder comment period. PAL recognises the vital role our local community and stakeholders play in the operation of the airport and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all interested persons for being a part of the Master Plan 2024 process.
